How to Hide the Booking Form
Turn off the booking form on your trip pages when you don't want travelers booking online.
Hide the booking form from your trip page
When a traveler opens one of your trip pages, they see a booking form on the right side of the page. It lets them pick a date, choose how many people are coming, and book right there on your website.
But maybe you don't want that. Maybe you only take bookings by phone so you can talk through the details first. Or maybe you sell through a travel agent who handles the booking for you. Whatever your reason, you can turn the booking form off.
You'll need the WP Travel Engine plugin active on your WordPress site before you start.
Open your WordPress dashboard
Your WordPress dashboard is the control panel for your whole website. You can get there by adding /wp-admin to the end of your website address in your browser.
Go to WP Travel Engine Settings
On the left sidebar of your dashboard, click WP Travel Engine, then click Settings. This is where all your trip display options live.
Open the Display tab
Click the Display tab at the top of the settings page. This is where you control what shows up on your trip pages.
Find the Single Trip section
Scroll down until you see the Single Trip heading. Underneath it, look for the General sub-section.
Turn off the booking form
Find the toggle labelled Show Booking Form and switch it off. This removes the form from the sidebar of every trip page on your site.
Save your changes
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Your settings take effect right away.
Say you run guided mountain treks and only take bookings by phone. You want to check that each person is fit enough for the trail before confirming a booking. With the booking form hidden, your trip page still shows the photos, itinerary, and pricing. Travelers will not see the option to book online.
After you save the setting, open one of your trip pages to check it. The booking form will be gone, and the rest of the trip page will stay the same.
