How to Configure Admin Email
Set up booking and payment confirmation alerts sent to the site admin, and add the addresses that receive them.
Turn on admin email alerts
Admin Email sends email alerts to the admin when a trip is booked or a payment is made. You can turn these notifications on or off any time.
If you are new to WordPress, the Dashboard is the main admin area. You will find the menu on the left sidebar after you log in.
To open the Admin Email template for Booking and Payment Confirmation, go to Dashboard → WP Travel Engine → Settings → Emails → Notification → Admin. Once you are there, you can choose what the admin gets notified about.
This is the area where you control admin alerts. Next, you can adjust the booking confirmation email settings.
Configure booking confirmation settings
Booking confirmation emails tell you when a traveler completes a booking. That helps you spot new reservations quickly and follow up with your customer if needed.
Open the Booking Confirmation settings
Go to Dashboard → WP Travel Engine → Settings → Emails → Notification → Admin if you are not there already.
You will see the admin email notification settings for your site.
Turn on Notification to reveal the email fields
When you enable Notification, more settings appear for you to fill in.
Those extra settings let you name the email, write the subject line, and edit the message content.
Fill in the Name field
Enter the Name of the email.
This is the name of the email and what the email tries to deliver.
For example, you might name it "New Trek Booking Alert" if you want to quickly recognize bookings for your trekking packages.
Write the Subject line
Enter the Subject line for the booking confirmation email.
You can use personalization tags here to add booking details to the subject line.
For example, a subject like "New booking for Upper Mustang Jeep Tour" is easier to spot in your inbox than a generic subject.
Edit the Email Content
Use Email Content to write the message the admin will receive.
You can also use personalization tags in the email content to make the message more useful.
This can help if you want the email to include trip details, traveler details, or booking information at a glance.
Once the booking confirmation email looks right, you are set for that part. Payment Confirmation works the same way, which makes the next part familiar.
Payment Confirmation is another admin email notification. You configure it the same way as the settings above.
Add the email address that should receive admin alerts
The email template controls what gets sent. Now you need to tell the plugin where to send those messages.
What you'll need before you start: the admin email address you want to receive booking and payment notifications.
Open the Emails settings
Go to Dashboard → WP Travel Engine → Settings → Emails → Settings.
If you are new to WordPress, use the left sidebar in your dashboard to move through each menu item.
Add your admin email address
Find the Admin Notification Emails section.
Add your email address there.
Once you add your email, customer notification emails go directly to your inbox. That means you can keep track of bookings and payments without checking your site all day.
