How to Change Booking Emails
Update the email address that receives admin booking notifications in WP Travel Engine.
When a traveler books one of your trips, WP Travel Engine sends you an email so you know a new booking came in. By default, that message often goes to the email address you used when you set up WordPress. You might want those alerts to go somewhere else instead. For example, many tour operators send booking emails to a shared team inbox or to the address they check most often. That is what this setting controls.
Find the booking email setting
You only need to change one field. Once you find it, you can choose exactly where your booking notifications go.
Open the email settings
Go to Dashboard → WP Travel Engine → Settings → Emails → Settings.
If you are new to WordPress, the Dashboard is the main admin area you see after logging in. You can find it in the left sidebar.
After you open this page, you are in the right place to update where booking emails are sent.
Find the Admin Notification Emails field
Look for the Admin Notification Emails field on the settings screen.
This field appears in the email settings area. This is where you enter the email address that should receive booking notifications when someone books a trip on your site.
Once you find this field, you are ready to update the address.
Adding more than one email address
If more than one person needs to see new bookings, add multiple email addresses in the same field. This is helpful if you run tours with a co-guide, a booking manager, or a shared office inbox.
Separate each email address with a comma and do not add spaces. For example, if you and your co-owner both need booking alerts, enter the addresses like this:
yourname@example.com,coowner@example.com
If you use this format, both people will receive the same booking notification.
The same field also controls where enquiry emails go. An enquiry email is the message you receive when a potential traveler sends you a question through your site. If you change this address, you update both booking and enquiry notifications.
